Scawfell and Brampton Islands

The wind deserted us for the sail from the Percy Islands to Scawfell Island so after 10 hours motor sailing we arrived at the majestic Scawfell. It has a superb long beach for our walk with rocky head lands at the eastern end. After a few days at Scawfell we headed to the resort Island of Brampton for an overnight stay before a very slow sail to the Newry Islands.

Well Stumpy, that seems really tough going. I just don't know how you coped with motoring for 10 hours in such awful calm conditions with nothing really to look at except for wonderful scenery !
